The GRACEHAVEN FOUNDATION is a 501(C)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit Corporation created to inspire, educate, and engage marginalized women and girls to overcome inequalities and reclaim silenced abilities to maximize potential for effective living. We are committed to providing a safe haven where women and girls can rebound, experience personal growth, and development. Our programs are created around our belief in upholding the dignity of women and girls.
Our Team
JUNE ROBINSON
Founder and President
June A Robinson is the Founder and President of Gracehaven Foundation, Inc. She is a transformational teacher, Life Coach, Mentor, Entrepreneur, Author and has over two decades of broad professional experience in Nonprofit Administration. She is an educated and dynamic professional who is currently pursuing a certificate in Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies from Harvard University. She is a visionary, woman of faith, and mother of two handsome sons; Joshua and Joseph.
Gracehaven Foundation was birthed out of her passion to empower marginalized and underserved women and girls to fully live out their potential. Dr. June believes that when females are given equal access and opportunities to learn, develop their skills and connect with others, they become valuable agents for positive change in their generation.
SANDRA REID
Director (Secretary)
Sandra G. Reid is a former middle and high school principal for Baltimore County Public Schools. During her service, she was recognized as BCPS and Maryland’s Principal of the Year. She has served as a mentor teacher/administrator, been on numerous commissions, and provided professional developments on facets of educational service germane to the promotion of successful outcomes for adolescents. She is a committed Christian, mother of two, and an advocate for student and adult achievement and empowerment.
CYNTHIA OLIVER
Director (Treasurer)
Cynthia Oliver served for over 30 years as a health care administrator and CEO in underserved communities in the Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley areas. She serves as a volunteer in providing healthcare and sharing the gospel to impoverished communities globally. Cynthia currently spends her time as a real estate investor. She enjoys traveling the world and spending time with her sons and grandchildren.
ABIGAIL DENSON
Youth Advisor & Mentor
13-year-old Abigail Denson was recognized by the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth as one of the brightest young students in the world. A homeschooled student, Abigail enjoys writing and teaching high school level math. Her first fiction novel, “The Lost Island” will be published later this year. Abigail signed with the Kim Dawson talent agency and enjoyed modeling for companies such as JCPenney and The Fort Worth Transit Authority. Abigail hopes to pursue a career as a pediatrician or software engineer.
